征文|IPRES2020数字资源长期保存国际会议（北京，9.21-24）(3.15截止)
由中国科学院文献情报中心和国家科技图书文献中心（NSTL）共同提出的主办2020年数字资源长期保存国际会议（International Conference on Digital Preservation）第17届会议（简称iPRES 2020）的申请，2018年5月正式得到iPRES指导委员会批准，拟于2020年9月在中国北京举行。
数字信息资源已经成为学术领域及众多其他领域的研究、教育、出版、传播的主流信息资源，我国高等学校和研究机构所购买的国内外数字文献以及数字多媒体内容已占据采购经费和使用规模的主要部分。但是，这些资源往往通过网络方式进行使用，很容易因为技术、安全、管理、经济、甚至政治等因素受到阻断，因此自主可控地长期保存和可持续利用这些数字资源，成为事关我国科技教育持续发展、国家信息安全、人类科技文明传承的基础性战略性战略挑战。
中国科学院文献情报中心不仅在2004年iPRES第一届国际会议的发起国，还与NSTL共同承办了第4届iPRES（2007年）会议，此次历经16年后iPRES重返北京，具有重要的历史意义。正如iPRES指导委员会主席Andreas Rauber博士指出，中国提出的iPRES 2020申请获得了iPRES指导委员会所有委员的积极评价，并高度赞赏两家主办单位在数字长期保存方面研究、探索、实践取得的成果和发挥的重要作用，相信iPRES 2020 将取得圆满成功。

meeting the preservation challenges of the evolving types of digital content.
The conference will take place at NSL in Beijing, 33 Beisihuan Xilu, Zhongguancun, Beijing, China. It is located in the core area of Zhong Guan Cun Research & Innovation Zone, so-called Chinese Silicon Valley, where there is a high concentration of numerous top research institutes, well-known universities, national or international high-tech companies, and many start-ups and incubators for them, all immersed in a rich cultural environment.
