承载生命延续之重
妇产科学
中国最早关于妇产科学的记载，始于殷商时期，当时以“疾育”代指女子生育疾患。《诗经》和《山海经》中都有关于妇科方面的用药，到了明代李时珍在编著《本草纲目》时博览广涉,写下诸如《子母秘录》、《产书》、《产乳书》、《胎产须知》等妇科内容。西方医学史上被公认为最早论述妇产科学发展的卡汗纸草书写于公元前2000~1800年。
妇产科学的进步，极大改善了女性生存状态，是孕产生存率提高的根基，扎实科学的妇产科学知识，对于人类的生命延续而言，无比重要且无可替代。
本期，我们推荐一本妇产科学领域的经典教材，它也是2020年医学外国教材中心使用率排名第一的电子教材。

主编Lawrence Impey是黑丁顿牛津大学附属约翰拉德克利夫医院的产科和胎儿医学顾问，皇家妇产科医学院荣誉院士。
另一位主编Tim Child博士是牛津大学生殖医学和外科的高级研究员，同时也是英国牛津大学约翰拉德克利夫医院的名誉顾问妇科医生。
